Animal Lavender Bag - Smelly Buddies

Here are my new ‘Smelly Buddies’! - I designed these for children to pop into a pocket or under a pillow for comfort. When my daughter first started school, she was a bit anxious about leaving me so I always popped a little handmade lavender bag into her pocket that she could squish and smell whenever she wanted some comfort. I told her that I would do the same with my one and we could think of each other. The little bag was in fact a bit like having a little buddy. These have been made using cotton and have been stuffed with organic lavender which has calming properties. My daughter has also always had one under her pillow at night and cuddles them. We’d joke and say ‘ Where’s your little smelly buddy?’ or ‘Have you got your smelly buddy?’ - which always made us giggle. I’ve designed and made these in my studio - each one measures approx 9 x 10cm. Perfect pocket size. These will arrive with a little smelly buddy business card as shown.
